This small hall is dominated by a full length portrait of George I in his Garter Robes. Painted by Sir Godfrey Kneller, this portrait was presented by George II to Sir Edward Hulse who had been Court Physician throughout his reign.
The set of Napoleonic battle scenes are worth attention. They are by the French artist Beaufort who accompanied Napoleon on many of his engagements and sketched the events on the field of battle. Painted later, they are all signed and dated 1835.
In the cabinet opposite are displayed the Orders and Baton of Field Marshal Sir Samuel Hulse, P.C., G.C.H.
